The Microcirculation Institute of
China Xiehe Medical University under the Chinese Academy of
Medical Sciences applied the optic protein chip to test the
TP in breast cancer cells and achieved the similar result
produced by a testing method prevailed overseas. Chinese
researchers have also worked out the preparation process for
producing the anti—CA15—3 optic protein chip, a
major lab testing indicator.
In the course of
applying China's proprietary optic protein chip to test the
TP in breast cancer cells and exploring anti — TP
multi — cloned antibody based optic protein chip
testing method, the Institute has tested 20 breast vessel
cancer cases and produced a result extremely consistent with
the result produced by ELISA, an advanced immunity testing
approach widely applied abroad. Compared with ELISA process,
China's optic chip has been proved simpler and more reliable
with easier readout and lower cost, very promising for wide
clinic applications. CA15—3 is an important serum
protein indicator needed by breast cancer lab testing and
post-operation tracking—down. Researchers employed the
selected anti — CA15—3 monoclonal antibodies to
make optic protein chips and applied them in testing 35
breast cancer patients blood samples. The testing
results have been compared with the one produced by the
chemical CA15—3 testing process that is under the
current clinic applications and shown the extreme
relevance.
These findings have proved that
China's proprietary optic protein chips are appropriate for
mass production, given the merits such as easy and fast
operation, low cost, unified standards and find
communication. Researchers expressed that if optic protein
chips can be made clinically applicable together with
associated testing equipment, a great advancement will be
seen in improving clinic diagnosing and treating common
diseases, post-operation tracking down and lowering medical expenses.
