Exhibition of Graphic Arts by Guanlan, Shenzhen Opened in Bulgaria

On December 6, "Guanlan Printmaking―Exhibition of Printmaking by Artists in Residence in Guanlan Original Printmaking Base, Shenzhen" opened in Gallery "SREDETS" owned by Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria. Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Culture, Mr. Dimiter Dereliev, Vice President of China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Mr. Tan Ping, Cultural Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria, Ms. Zhang Zhonghua, Director of National Institute of Culture of Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Dimitrova and some other guests attended the opening ceremony.

It was the first time that the graphic works from Guanlan Original Printmaking Base were shown in Bulgaria and the 30 graphic works exhibited had been selected from a huge amout of works produced by 265 artists coming from 47 different countries and regions.

Guanlan Original Printmaking Base was set up in 2006 and it is a place where all kinds of activities concerning graphic arts like the production, display, collection, exchange, research, training and maket promotion have been combined together, making it a world well-known platform for friendship, communications and creation activities of the artists of graphic arts.
